Robyn Fashler RMT
Fueled by a deep interest in human kinetics and holistic wellness, I earned my Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), graduating with honors.
As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), I provide treatments that are effective, restorative, and educational. My clinical approach emphasizes Rocking/Shaking techniques, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Release, and Joint Mobilizations. My key areas of focus include shoulder pain and movement patterns, upper- and mid-back stiffness, scar tissue management, chronic pain, and integrating movement to support long-term recovery.
Drawing on my prior experience in the office furniture industry, I bring a strong foundation in ergonomics, assisting clients in optimizing workspaces, household routines, and movement habits to reduce pain and strain. When providing suggestions for homecare, I prioritize practical, engaging strategies that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
I also have an extensive background with high-performance athletics, competing in basketball, rowing, and ultimate frisbee, all at the college and/or national level. Combined with my personal experience managing injuries, this history informs my nuanced understanding of the body, injury prevention, and recovery. This perspective underpins a patient-centered approach, meeting clients where they are, and supporting their goals for wellness and functional mobility.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy line dancing, road trips, and activities that reflect balance and mindfulness, values that quietly inform my clinical practice.
